Adrian holds a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience, First Class honours (2014-2017) from the University of Sydney. He completed his Honours Degree research project with Science for Wildlife’s Blue Mountains Koala Project, which included undertaking an evaluation of direct and indirect survey methods for koalas. He has extensive field experience in remote areas and recently completed a 6-month internship in Mauritius. He’s been brave enough to take on more scat surveys and has been working with us, employed as an Assisting Ecologist, on our broad-scale scat surveys to map koala distribution. His skills include radio telemetry, animal behaviour, vegetation assessments and he has worked with a wide range of species from bats and amphibians to reptiles and small mammals.
