2013 Great Koala Count results are out.

Koalas are in decline and are under further threat from climate change as our weather grows hotter and drier. We need to find the remaining koala populations to build a picture of where they live and what habitats they depend on.

Last November Science for Wildlife promoted The Great Koala Count in the Blue Mountains and Sydney region. Communities right across NSW participated in the Great Koala Count between November 7 and 17 in 2013 and the data from the Count is now available, below, on the official Great Koala Count website run by the National Parks Association of NSW.
