Help Us Give Koalas A Future – Make A Tax Deductible Donation Now
The end of financial year is fast approaching with June 30 only a few weeks away. We are encouraging our supporters to please consider making a tax deductible donation that will go towards helping save the lives of koalas and other Australian wildlife.
Every donation we receive makes a difference and allows us to continue the impactful work we’ve been doing with wildlife and bushland around Australia. We’ve made some amazing progress so far, however we still have so much more to do, especially in the wake of the Black Summer bushfires.
Your Donations Make a Difference
Koala populations have been at risk of extinction for some time, and our research is assisting in understanding how we can provide our wildlife with the optimal environment to thrive, breed and continue surviving.
The Black Summer bushfires were devastating to the bushland and koala communities we were monitoring, injuring and killing native wildlife that was already struggling to survive. It has now been just over 12 months since these fires, and although there is a lot of hope, we still have a long way to go to fully heal and help prevent this devastation in the future.
With the help of your donations, we are applying the best technology and science to meet this urgent conservation challenge. Your donations will fund projects that are focusing on:
- Training and utilising koala detection dogs to assist in locating koalas in the wild
- Using drone technology to assist in locating koalas in remote and rugged areas that we cannot access by foot
- Ear tags and radio technology that allows us to closely monitor and track wild koalas, giving us in depth scientific data on their food and living requirements.
- Community awareness events and information that helps keep local communities informed on how they can assist in giving the local wildlife the best chance of survival
Equipped with this technology and information, we will be able to provide koalas and other native wildlife with the best possible chance of survival in future years, under the threat of climate change.

Koala species in the Blue Mountains are some of the most diverse in the world. These unique wildlife are worth protecting, and we intend to do everything we can to save them from extinction.
